#BritMumsLive Aftermath 4

I have got so many ideas and things that I want (and need) to blog about after the #Britmumslive conference this weekend. It was brilliant! I went to Cybermummy last year and I had a good time, but didn’t really get any benefit out of going being just a business blogger at that point. Now fast forward a year, add a pregnant bump and my own personal blogging space and #britmumslive becomes the place to be over 22-23rd June 2o12!

This is going to just be a quick round up of my weekend and then I will dedicate individual blog posts to some certain excellent aspects of the weekend – I hope you don’t all get bored!

So what are my general thoughts? Wow! It was fantastic, I loved being a grown up and getting stay in a fabulous hotel (Apex London Wall Hotel) and I got to spend the weekend with one of my best buddies Kelly, I love spending time with that Northerner! Definitely check out her blog Writings, Ramblings and Reviews The conference itself was well organised with plenty of really interesting seminars to attend, my particular highlights were Julia Boggio and her photography tips (and she got to dance with Patrick Swayze A – Mazing!) the Blogging for the Greater Good and of course the Bloggers Keynotes at the end of the two days. They had me in tears (too much for the pregnant lady!) and roaring with laughter….you should definitely go check out Ministry of Mum and the beautifully inspiring Down Side Up who has given me lots to contemplate both as a health professional and a mum-to-be.

The sponsors were lovely and so easy to chat to, I have some particular favourites (and they will be gaining their own blog posts so watch out Bananagrams, Radcliffes Wine Disney, Butlins, VisitOrlando and Give As You Live you are all on my list!)

I also got to meet some very lovely bloggers that have made me feel right at home with opening up my heart into personally blogging; to you all, it was so lovely to put names to faces (even real names!) and I am looking forward to continuing to enjoy this journey with you all! So a big hello to to Bod for Tea, Ruth from Bag of All Sorts, Sarah from Party of Seven, and Claire from Life, Ninja Killer Cat and everything else!

Lastly I just had to mention how fabulous it was to get home and be able to share all my goodies with the rest of Team Lloyd….I think these pictures kinda sums up my feelings of the weekend, as well as B Lloyd’s!

Happy Faces All Round!

I am glad you enjoyed it. Sorry we didn’t meet.
So many people so little time, I missed so many people, despite my best efforts.

Definitely, Definitely, Definitely! I was only thinking that the other day – they are going to be so close in age, and it would be lovely to have a few more bump shots between us – would make a lovely post at the end with a pictures of the littles ones as well 🙂
