Well maybe not quite 101 but we still managed to fit ALOT of things into our week last week. B Lloyd went back to school yesterday with a list of everything we did in her head so she could remember to write about it all in her “Holiday News”.
So it went a little something like this
Monday – We headed off (B Lloyd and I) for a girly day at Toni and Guy in Maidenhead, we love going to see SallyAnn and always have a great time. B Lloyd usually goes for curly hair but this time she decided she wanted her hair blown dry straight. The best photo from the day ended up as Photo of The Week and we both had a great day!
Tuesday – Having been through B Lloyd’s recent allergy review it was decided that we could start to introduce a little bit of egg content into her diet. Having never been able to bake biscuits or cakes with B Lloyd before because of the raw egg it was quite a moment in our lives – so cue the big trip to the supermarket to buy all the ingredients for biscuit baking….
Wednesday – We had a date with some lovely friends, we went off to Kids AM to see Rise of the Guardians which was excellent, and then stopped into pizza express for a quick lunch (well ok so we ended up being in Pizza Express longer than we were in the cinema but that wasn’t our fault – more the very very slow service!)
Thursday – We headed off to the swimming pool, B Lloyd practising her underwater push and glide and teaching me the “pizza” shape arms I should be doing in the breaststroke! We had lots of fun splashing around and spent ages waving at each other under water – now I have finally learnt to put my face in!
Friday – To Nanna’s house with the second round of baking for B Lloyd, this time Butterfly Muffins – the first time B Lloyd has tasted cake and enjoyed it. There was another time she ate cake, in hospital during a food challenge. She screamed and vomited and had hives around her mouth. Thankfully this was a much nicer experience!
Saturday & Sunday – B Lloyd, Daddy Lloyd and I all packed our suit cases and headed off to lovely Salisbury to visit CCMel. As always we had a splendid time, we love staying in the Pine Room and we got up to all sorts. Mainly it did involve eating though it has to be said. The boys went and did boy stuff for a couple of hours and us girls went and visited the very beautiful Cathedral that I just adore. B Lloyd and I lit a candle each for Harry Lloyd.
So there you have it. A fun packed, wonderful half term holiday. With the back to school blues going on this week all that can be heard to be said about Team Lloyd Towers today is 4 weeks until Easter Holidays!!!
